Made of stainless steel with a removable drip tray, the Melitta pour over coffee stand features a clean, functional design that goes with any kitchen. Contrary to what its flimsy-looking appearance might suggest, the stand is very solid and well-built, holding all four pour over cones nicely without feeling flimsy.

 

Ease of Use

First and most importantly, we tried fitting some of the most popular pour over coffee makers like the Hario V60 and Kalita Wave dripper onto the stand see if they would work well with the stand. After all, most of us probably will play with a few drippers rather than using the default brewing cones. While it was a bit of a crowd with different cones on the stand, they all fit well and we had no problems using the stand to make our pour over coffee.

There are two cons to the Melitta pour over coffee stand. Firstly, The height of the stand cannot be adjusted, which means that taller carafes cannot be used and too-small cups and mugs may result in your coffee splashing out. Secondly, the four pour over coffee cones are spaced tightly together with little extra room, so carafes that are too wide  can’t be used, especially for the 2 brewing spots at either end. While it’s unlikely you’ll be brewing more than one or two cups of coffee at the same time, it can still feel cramped compared to single pour over coffee stands.

The stainless steel drip tray that hides at the bottom of the stand is really quite nifty, collecting any runaway liquids and keeping the counter below clean. In fact, the entire pour over coffee stand is easy to clean since it’s made of stainless steel.

We can see this lasting in the kitchen for a good number of years, so if you’re going to invest in your love for pour over coffee, the Melitta 4 Station Stainless Steel Pour-Over Coffee Bar is definitely for you.
